Team Audit

The common assumption is that when you put a group of people together they will become a team. Without specific guidance most groups dive deep into tasks and actions and don’t invest enough time developing goals, processes and relationships.

The Team Audit is designed to create an environment of understanding and a simple language that the team can use to fully understand why they are a team and what they need to do, to become strategic, rather than just operational.

We use Team Canvas and a DISC team questionnaire to analyse the existing team profile.

The Team Canvas lays out the fundamental building blocks of a successful team, helping to identify your purpose and focus, value proposition, communication flow,  and to develop a team agreement. The canvas or the ‘rich picture’ acts as a framework for all team reviews helping you identify where and how you can develop your performance.

The DISC questionnaire will give you the tools to uncover the style and preferences of each team member, to gain a deeper understanding of their needs, how they prefer to communicate and how to support and challenge their performance. The audit will identify the gaps in the team, the impact of the gaps and what to do about them. It will also help with the integration of new team members.
